March is all about the GREEN!!

DONT LEAVE YOUR HEALTH UP TO THE LUCK OF THE IRISH!

TAKE CONTROL AND MAKE MARCH GREEN!

Not only is it St. Patricks Day, but its Nation Nutrition Month.

Lets take March to really take a look at our plate and get it in shape!!!

Lets see how we can revamp our nutrition and commit to a healthier month!

One way is to take the NO JUNK FOOD CHALLENGE!

That means one month of No White Sugar, No White Flour, No Processed Foods, No Chemically- enhanced foods, No artificial ingredients AT ALL!

Do you think you can do it?!?! It is only 31 days of your life!!!
Lets take the challenge together!!!

Instead of focusing on what you CANT have--- lets talk about what you can have and adding more Greens into your daily life!

My top 5 choices of GREENs to add into your daily diet this month are:

1. Kale
2. Spinach
3. Asparagus
4. Broccoli
5. Avocado

All of these have incredible health benefits!
and not to mention there are tons of delicious ways to eat them!

One of my favorite ways to eat Kale is by baking it and making KALE CHIPS!
They are easy, fast and delicious!

I love to eat spinach in so many different ways!
I add it into my shakeology smoothies, eat as a salad, put in my eggs and even cook it on the stove in some chicken broth with onion and garlic for an awesome wilted spinach side!

Asparagus!!! Ah another love of mine! My absolute favorite way to make these little guys is to roast them in the oven at 400 degrees with olive oil, sea salt and some slivered almonds!

And BROCCOLI! Another great green that is delicious raw, roasted or steamed!
One of my families favorites is to just steam, add in some butter and garlic salt and serve!

and last but definitely NOT least... AVOCADO!! This is actually technically a fruit- and literally my favorite!!! My kids even love avocados!!
I love to eat these in my salad or blended in my smoothies.  But my all time favorite way to eat them is with just a sprinkle of garlic salt and pepper! Use a spoon and just scoop it out!

LETS COMMIT TO MAKING MARCH GREEN!
Skip the junk and commit to adding in one of these delicious greens
into your diet each and every day!
