Healthy stuffed Turkey Burger

Ok... So my husband has been having some medical issues - so I did some research to really make Food his Medicine! So of course that meant a huuuuge grocery bill later I am concocting some recipes. 
This one is a turkey burger stuffed with garlic, onion and pinto beans! 
 

Here are the ingredients
1.2 lbs extra lean ground turkey
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 small white onion, or half of a medium one (minced) 
1/2 a can of pinto beans 
1/2 tsp onion powder 
1/2 tsp garlic powder 
1/2 garlic salt
1/2 tsp ground flax/chia seed
1/2 tsp brewers yeast 
1/4 tsp turmeric. 
1 egg white

Lightly use some Ground pepper 

Beat together until most beans are broken up and divide into patties 

Then Throw me on the grill !! 
 
While they cook on the grill I am using the rest of the cut onion on the stove to sautéed in some garlic and olive oil.  

 Sautéed on medium low heat and cover. 
Once they turn translucent and soft they are done !! 

Then to create the burger I uses a half of a whole wheat bun. Stacked with lettuce tomato, the turkey burger and onions. 

Eat with a fork and knife!! Or else you will have it sliding all over the place! ;)
