Chocolate chip clean Pancakes

Who lives those chocolate chip pancakes your mom used to make growing up!?
Ok well my mom never made me chocolate chip pancakes.... Haha but my kids love them!

I am not a big pancake person myself actually.... Well  at least i wasn't until i discovered clean pancakes!

This morning my bright eyed 6 year old asked for some chocolate chip pancakes.   So I decided to create my cleaner version!  And might I add they were a big hit!

Here is what you will need:
1 cup quick or rolled oats
6 egg whites
2 large bananas
2 tsp cinnamon
1Tbs ground flax/chia
1/2tsp salt
1tsp vanilla
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or however many you want )

Mash banana in a bowl then add in rest of ingredients leaving chocolate chips to be last.

Then cook on stove like regular pancakes.

You can add whatever topping to it you like, I eat them plane because they are so sweet already but my kids like a Dan of organic pure maple syrup! ( don't go with the crappy, fake stuff!!)

And of course.... Enjoy!
